Pro-life is a Movement of compassion
So you want to be a pro-life advocate*.
Where do you fit in? And what do you need to know to be an effective advocate?
*Advocate:

- A person who pleads on someone else’s behalf.
- Care managers can become advocates for their clients
- Doing ANYTHING to build a culture of LIFE IS also being an advocate
Pro-life is no longer about protest marching judgement sign waving
We are deeply grateful to the founders and veterans of the Pro-Life community and the powerful foundation they laid through their courage and conviction! However, with time and reflection, we’ve learned that some of the traditional strategies, such as protest marching and sign waving, haven’t produced the long-term cultural shift we need. Today, we’re embracing new, research-backed approaches that resonate more deeply with younger generations, create true lasting impact and help to build a culture that respects human life.

THE NEW PRO-LIFE MOVEMENT
At its core it’s about LOVE, COMPASSION AND LISTENING. It’s not about winning arguments, but reaching hearts.
We’re learning to lead with grace, to hear people’s stories before offering answers, and to respond with truth rooted in empathy. This isn’t about shouting louder but about speaking more wisely, more personally, and more powerfully.
We also need to be smarter about how we show up. That’s where you come in. By learning from doctors, counselors, researchers, communicators, and legal experts, you can better understand the challenges we face and how to respond with clarity and confidence. With the right tools and support, everyday people like you are becoming stronger voices in this movement. You don’t have to do it alone – but you do have something to offer. And now’s the time to tap into your inner super hero!
Case Study: Example of How the Pro-Life Movement is Changing -
Language Matters

Research showed that while the image below connected with the 40+ cohort; the image to the right connected with Gen Z and Millennials. The way we say what we believe matters now more than ever. The phrases we’ve used, the signs we carried, many of them were made for a different era They served a powerful purpose but they don’t always align with today’s cultural climate. Phrases like “Stop abortion now” and even “Love them both” often sound cold and out dated, or disconnected to the people we are trying to reach. Gen Z and Millennials prioritize individuality. “Support Her, Protect Them” shifts the tone from judgment to support. It affirms the woman’s value while protecting her child. Most importantly it speaks the language that she values. It feels empowering and safe while not compromising the truth and it is mission-focused. It is readable for graphics in social media. We have to speak to young women in a way that aligns with what they are navigating. Many are scared and confused, and many are post-abortive.
